Dallas Fourth of July Activities

Fair Park Fourth

On Monday, July 4th visit Fair Park for free admission to the groups to see historic art, architecture and of course, the fireworks.  The State Fair of Texas Midway will also be open, but admission is $5 to access the Midway and there will be 30 rides, 14 games and 19 concessions for the whole family.  Enjoy food trucks, performances by the Dallas Winds and other local artists and at 5:00 pm make your way to Cotton Bowl Stadium to free admission to the best seats in the park for fireworks. At exactly 9:37 pm fireworks will begin.  Parking for Fair Park Fourth is $10.

Addison Kaboom Town

Don’t want to get the kids to bed too late on July 4th? Celebrate July 3rd at Kaboom Town in Addison.  Addison park opens at 4:00pm and enjoy lots of food concessions, games and other treats throughout the park.  All throughout the afternoon and evening, a selection of bands including the Dallas Wind Symphony will be on deck for patriotic favorites.  At 9:30 pm find, a nice space in the grass for one of the best fireworks shows in the country. Following the fireworks show, stick around for the Party Machine Band at 10:15pm.

Dallas Arboretum

Head outdoors to enjoy live music, flowers, and foliage at the Dallas Arboretum this Fourth of July weekend. Special patriotic events and food offerings take place all weekend in the main garden Open Thursday June, 30th to Monday July 4th.

A Star Spangled Spectacular

For a classic Fourth of July celebration, check out the Meyerson Symphony Center’s Star Spangled Spectacular on Monday, July 4th at 1:00pm. The Dallas Wind Symphony will once again treat visitors and locals to classic patriotic songs at the lovely (and air-conditioned!) Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
