This rich treasure house is located in the Southwest in Grand Ave in Dallas. This place is dedicated to the rich Black cultural and American Culture. African culture has great influence on the history of Texas and United States. It is one of the largest holders of African American art folk collection. The shape of the museum is in cross made of ivory stone shape which represents the African culture.

The museum has the rich collection of African American culture, photographs, objects, paintings, Klu Klux Klan costume, objects from Freedman’s cemetery and lots more. Now before rushing to the place, please note the time. The museum opens from Tuesday to Friday between 12:00pm to 5:00pm, on Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm. It remains un-functional on Monday. The admission to the place is free of charge.
